After falling short in a controversial split decision loss to Logan Storley at Bellator 281 for the company’s interim welterweight title, Michael “Venom” Page will make his next appearance in the combat sports world without gloves. The London, England, superstar has signed a one-fight deal to David Feldman‘s Bare Knuckle Championship Fighting.

The fight, which is to take place on August 20th, will be held in Page’s hometown of London. While “MVP” has no bare knuckle experience under his belt, the brash 35-year-old has scored knockouts both of his previous gloved boxing competition.
His opponent, “Platinum” Mike Perry, made his highly impressive debut to the biggest promotion in bare knuckle earlier this year where he defeated Julian Lane via unanimous decision. Previous to BKFC, Mike Perry had a 15-fight stint in the UFC, defeating the likes of Jake Ellenberger, Paul Felder, and Mickey Gall.

Over the course of @MichaelPage247’s 18-fight career at @BellatorMMA, we’ve allowed Michael to challenge himself outside our cage in professional boxing. We wish him luck in this match as he resets for another run at the Bellator title.
