Week eight of JCK 2022 season is upon us, and this weekend, JCK will pull a double-header. Twin cards go down on both Saturday and Sunday on UFC Fight Pass as installments of both the JCK Super Round series and the typical 2022 tournament. Stay tuned here for live results from Saturday’s event, JCK 2022 Fight Night 8.

Main Event – Super Round Special

Headlining the eighth installment of JCK’s 2022 tournament are two fighters with over 70 combined fights in the Chinese MMA circuit. Wu Ze will fight Cui Liucai as part of the JCK 2022 Super Round series, where veteran JCK athletes face each other in a round-robin style pool, and the top-ranked fighters hop into the later stages of the regular tournament at the end of the year.

Wu Ze (18-12) typically fights at flyweight, but is moving up into the bantamweight pool in JCK this year. He had a strong start in last year’s 2021 season with a 26-second demolition of Mo Haoxiong, but had to drop out of the tournament following the bout. Wu is on a six-fight win streak and trains out of Longyun MMA in China’s far northeast province, Heilongjiang.

Cui Liucai (25-7) is primarily a product of the Chinese promotion Glory of Heroes, becoming one of the poster boys for the company. He trains out of the Beijing Fighting Bros gym and is looking to pick up his first win with JCK. A win over Wu Ze would be the biggest of his long career, and the first step towards winning one million Yuan.

Rest of the Card – Hubulan and Another Aorigele

Making his JCK debut in the co-main event is Hubulan Tuerxunbieke, a boxing-focused Kazakh. Hubulan fights out of China Top Team, who have had a near-perfect run in JCK this year. He’s knocked out every foe he’s defeated, and he’ll look to make Hu Yong the ninth this Saturday.

Also on the card is a fight between the debuting Aorigele (no, not the 2021 JCK finalist or the super-heavyweight) and the veteran Yang Huiyong, as well as several fighters making their pro debuts. Alianwangbing, Zhang Wei, and Yu Zhikang all get to make the first move of their MMA careers under the bright lights of UFC Fight Pass.
