We’ll give you our money maker for the week, including which fighter we think will get their hand raised, which fights we think will go the distance and which fighters we think will finish things early.

Brendan Loughnane via Knockout at PFL 4
Brendan Loughnane is the defending PFL featherweight champion and will be headlining the upcoming PFL 4 card against Jesus Pinedo, where we predict that he will continue his knockout run. In last year’s final he knocked out Bubba Jenkins in the fourth round of their bout. He began this year’s tournament against Marlon Moraes and picked up where he left off last season, with a brutal finish. This time it came via leg kicks in round two.
Jesus Pinedo lost his first tournament bout which could lead to him entering the bout recklessly, leading to more openings for the slick striker, Loughnane. He’s been finished twice during his career and we’re predicting that he’ll be adding another notch to that unwanted column.
Mike Malott via Finish at UFC 289
Mike Malott looks to make it 3-0 in the UFC when he takes on Adam Fugitt at UFC 289. Malott is enjoying a five-fight finish streak in a variety of different methods. He returns to his homeland of Canada for the first time since 2017 and he’ll be looking to put on a show.
He takes on Fugitt, a man who was finished most recently in July of last year. Malott has extremely heavy hands, however, is more than capable on the ground. He’s recorded eight finishes during his career and therefore it’s a safer bet to have him via finish because Malott can do it all.
Sunny Edwards via Decision
Sunny Edwards returns to action at the OVO Arena in London, England. Quite possibly the best pure boxer England has produced in years, Edwards is a slickster when he gets in there. He’s the epitome of ‘hit and don’t get hit’ boxing and sits at an impressive 19-0.
Despite his impressive record, he’s far from a finisher. He’s notched 15 decision victories, of which eight have come in his last eight fights. This is arguably due to the weight class he competes in, down at flyweight (112lbs).
On Saturday night, Edwards takes on the undefeated Andres Campos. The Chilean is certainly impressive, however, he’s only fought outside of South America once. Edwards is used to the big show and there’s no doubt that this card has been built around him. It’s his first fight under the Matchroom banner and he’ll want to put on a show without a doubt.
Campos has been in there with some experienced guys and Edwards will be unlikely to get him out of there with ease. With that being said, Edwards is without a doubt going to put on a clinic against his foe in London. Edwards by decision is a solid bet for this one.
You’ll notice that we haven’t touched on Teofimo Lopez vs. Josh Taylor. This one is simply too close to call so it’s a better bet to leave it out this weekend.
