The ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight World Championship will be on the line at ONE Fight Night 14 when top-ranked contenders Stamp Fairtex and Ham Seo Hee square off for the gold. The highly-anticipated title tilt has captured the attention of ONE Championship flyweight king Demetrious Johnson. And he is firmly in the Thai star’s camp heading into the U.S. primetime showdown.

While Stamp is a former two-sport striking World Champion, Johnson has also been impressed with her stature in the division. The physicality of the Fairtex Gym star has been a key to her success to date. Combined with her progressions with the technical aspect of the game, she has become a force across all martial arts.

“Amazing growth from Stamp. Stamp is really big for the weight class, and strong. Not taking anything away from Alyse Anderson, but I felt that there was a huge size difference when I saw Anderson compared to Stamp,” Johnson told ONE.

“Mighty Mouse” has had the opportunity to watch Stamp’s development in person. The two have competed on the same cards together, giving the American insight into Stamp’s ascent to the top of the MMA world. After ONE Fight Night 10, Johnson walked away even more impressed with Stamp.

Even against a talented and crafty veteran like Ham, the Washington native believes Stamp will walk out on top. As she continues to improve by the day, “Mighty Mouse” thinks she will take care of all obstacles in the atomweight division. Johnson only sees one trouble area for the burgeoning star, athletic grapplers.

“Stamp has done amazing [with] her development. I think she’s going to have to run into somebody who’s a very big, athletic wrestler [in order to face any] trouble. I don’t see anybody in ONE Championship that’s going to be able to beat her,” Johnson said.

ONE Fight Night 14 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, September 1. The event will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. All of the action will be free for Amazon Prime subscribers based in the U.S. and Canada.
