ONE Championship will crown a new ONE Interim Featherweight MMA World Champion on Friday, October 6. While Tang Kai continues to recover from injuries, former king Thanh Le will stand across the ring from Ilya Freymanov at ONE Fight Night 15. Bangkok will be buzzing with the crowning of a new king.
Freymanov made an instant impact in his ONE debut against Martin Nguyen. The talented Russian ousted the former two-division champion inside of the first round. In his follow-up performance, Freymanov submitted Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg and proceeded to call his shot for a meeting against Le.
Little did he know that his wish would come with a golden prize. Le suffered his first defeat in ONE last year to Tang when he lost his title by decision. Since then, Le has been patiently waiting for his opportunity for a rematch. But another chance to assume the featherweight throne has presented itself while he waits for the Chinese star to get healthy.

The interim featherweight title tilt will join a stacked lineup on Prime Video. In the main event, ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai will meet Superbon Singha Mawynn in a massive bout showcasing the cream of the Muay Thai crop. The lineup also features Mikey Musumeci, Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak, and many more exciting athletes.
ONE Fight Night 15 airs live on Friday, October 6, from Bangkok, Thailand. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Prime Video. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members based in the U.S. and Canada.
