A double-header is in store for MMASucka staff picks.

Kicking off the weekend sees ONE Fight Night 19 set to take place at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Canada and United States viewers can tune into the event tonight, February 16th beginning at 8:00pm ET (5:00pm PT) on Amazon Prime Video. See ONE Championship’s website here to see how to watch in your country.

ONE Fight Night 19 results will be available here at MMASucka.

Featured Event

Tonight’s featured mixed martial arts fight will come in the strawweight division (125 pounds) between Danial Williams and Lito Adiwang. Muay Thai and kickboxing specialist Williams returns to MMA for the first time in nearly 16 months since having his five-fight run snapped to Jeremy Miado by third-round knockout. Opponent Adiwang rides opposite momentum with two 2023 victories: a 23-second knockout of Adrian Mattheis and a rematch decision over the aforementioned Miado.

Additional Pairings

Only two additional MMA fights will be included in our staff picks. Former interim Pancrase Welterweight title holder Hiroyuki Tetsuka takes on 27-year-old Brazilian Valmir da Silva at 185 pounds (welterweight). Additionally, Mansur Malachiev returns after suffering his first professional loss as he battles former Shooto Strawweight Champion and ONE Flyweight Champion Yosuke Saruta in the strawweight division (125 pounds).

Remaining Card

Although not included in our staff picks, the card remains stacked with must-watch fight pairings. In the main event, Jonathan Haggerty will look to defend his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Championship against former title challenger Felipe Lobo. Another former title contender, 29-year-old Saemapetch Fairtex, will look to avenge his December 2023 loss to Mohamed Younes Rabah in the co-main event.

Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL MMA), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).

  • UFC picks will compose main card fights ranging from four to six matchups per event.
  • PFL MMA picks are to be determined as card structures will likely change following last year’s merger with Bellator MMA.
  • ONE FC and DWCS picks will feature all MMA fights from the event with a minimum of three matchups.

The individual who picks the most victorious fighters by the end of 2024 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a detailed chain from Championship Chains. Staff picks in 2023 were won by Ben Jamieson with a record of 300-148.
