PFL vs Bellator Main Card
This is the statement card from the PFL having purchased Bellator at the back end of 2023. Headlining the fight card will be the PFL heavyweight king, Renan Ferreira taking on Bellator’s heavyweight champion, Ryan Bader. Ferreira captured the belt with a knockout of Denis Goltsov. Bader’s last performance saw him finish Fedor Emelianenko in the first round at Bellator 290.
The co-main event will feature the middleweights as MMASucka Podcast’s comeback fighter of the year, Impa Kasangany clashes with Johnny Eblen, looking to continue his hot run of form. Eblen is undefeated and is coming off a huge knockout win over Fabian Edwards.
PFL’s welterweight king, Magomed Magomedkerimov was forced out of his bout due to an injury so PFL legend, Ray Cooper III has stepped up to meet Jason Jackson. Jackson is coming off one of the upsets of 2023 when he knocked out Yaroslav Amosov, snapping a 27 fight unbeaten run.
The former Bellator light heavyweight champion, Vadim Nemkov vacated his 205lbs belt and is moving up to heavyweight. He will clash with 2021 PFL heavyweight champion, Bruno Cappelozza.
Former UFC title challengers, Yoel Romero and Thiago Santos meet at light heavyweight in a fight which on paper should be fireworks.
2023 lightweight tournament runner-up, Clay Collard will take the mantle of best lightweight in the PFL after Olivier Aubin-Mercier retired after his championship win. He’ll have his hands full as he takes on AJ McKee.
