Britain’s Dakota Ditcheva has been confirmed as part of the PFL’s 2024 regular season and will compete in the flyweight tournament. Dangerous is 10-0 and is arguably the hottest prospect in all of female MMA. She won the PFL’s 2023 European flyweight tournament, taking home $100,000 as well as the belt itself. She dominated the tournament, going 3-0 with three finishes, each of which came in brutal fashion.
Ditcheva will make her regular season debut on April 4th in San Antonio, Texas. PFL’s head honcho, Peter Murray stated:
“The toughest test in MMA, the PFL Regular Season, just got tougher with the addition of stars from Bellator” when launching the tournament dates. He went on to say:
“The PFL is excited to kick off the 2024 Regular Season in front of our great fans in San Antonio, Las Vegas and Chicago. This promises to be the biggest Regular Season in history, with the PFL heading to ten top markets around the country and distribution to 160 countries around the world”.
Joining Ditcheva and the female flyweights on the April 4th card will be the heavyweights. Ante Delija and former Bellator interim heavyweight champion, Valentin Moldavsky are both confirmed to be competing in the tournament. As for Ditcheva, she will be met by Bellator’s flyweight champion and MMA pioneer, Liz Carmouch at 125lbs. Whether they will meet is yet to be seen, however, the anticipation is certainly exciting.
