Every UFC card has their fair share of callouts, well UFC 300 was no different. Some of the biggest fighters on the card called out top ranked opponents — even champions.

The event was stacked from top to bottom. There were upsets, there were submissions and there were some serious knockouts.

In this new feature, we will take a look at the top four UFC 300 callouts.

Alex Pereira – Tom Aspinall

The main event was pure magic. Alex Pereira received a low blow, waved off the referee and then went on to throw the nastiest left hook to knock Jamahal Hill outcold.

He has held the belt at two weight classes and now wants to move up to heavyweight to take on Tom Aspinall. Does the fight make sense? Not necessarily. Will it happen next? Likely not, as Magomed Ankalaev is waiting in the wings at 205lbs. But would it be fun? Oh hell yeah.

Max Holloway – Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev

ONE SECOND LEFT. The shot heard around the world. With one second left on the clock, Max Holloway knocked Justin Gaethje outcold. This was one of the best knockouts in MMA history.

He had a great post-fight speech calling for Ilia Topuria, then Islam Makhachev, then back to Topuria. Holloway vs. Topuria is the fight to make and it will definitely draw eyes.

Kayla Harrison – Title Shot

In her Octagon debut, Kayla Harrison did not disappoint. Some fans and critics were not expecting much in terms of excitement in this one, however, Harrison showcased all of her skills. When the fight hit the canvas, she was able to lock in a very deep rear-naked choke on former champion Holly Holm and earned a second round submission victory.

Following the fight, in her interview with Joe Rogan she stated she wants the title and that’s what she came there for. Give the woman her shot.

Bobby Green – Paddy Pimblett

Bobby Green came into his UFC 300 bout with Jim Miller in the number 14 ranked position in the lightweight division. Despite a brilliant performance, he is now sitting at the number 15 spot.

In the first round of the fight, he fought well, but in rounds two and three he turned up the pace. He fought a vintage Bobby Green style, with his hands low and picking Miller apart until the final bell.

In his post-fight speech he called out Paddy Pimblett and said he would even fight him in his home country. Smart callout from Green as Pimblett has a following and a name that he can build off of.
