Ben Tynan will not have to wait long for his next chance to shine. After a dominant showing earlier in April, he will be right back in action for ONE Championship in June. The Canadian heavyweight will return to action at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tynan got a quick win over Duke Didier at ONE Fight Night 21. Now “Vanilla Thunder” will try to keep his record perfect by taking on Mauro Cerilli. However, the Italian will try to steal the thunder away from the North Dakota State standout and jump right back into the thick of the hunt at heavyweight.

Cerilli picked up his own dominant win last September. “The Hammer” defeated Paul Elliott by first-round TKO. A win over Tynan would reinvigorate his positioning within the division and set him on a course back toward the top.

Tynan has jumped on the scene in a major way. With his decorated grappling background and improvements on the feet, “Vanilla Thunder” is quickly becoming a name to watch. Even ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin has taken notice.

The heavyweight showdown joins an already stacked lineup at ONE 167. The main event will feature Stamp Fairtex defending the ONE Atomweight MMA World Title against Denice Zamboanga. The event airs live and free in U.S. primetime on Prime Video.

ONE 167 airs live on Friday, June 7, from Bangkok. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for Amazon Prime members based in the U.S. and Canada.
