More MMA action comes your way later tonight. A month and a half removed from the promotion’s first card of 2024, women’s promotion Invicta Fighting Championships (Invicta FC) returns to action with Invicta FC 56 from Stockyards Event Center in Denver, CO.

Live coverage kicks off at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on the Invicta YouTube and Facebook pages with the prelims before moving over to CBS Sports Network for the main card at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT. Note: CBS Sports Network’s broadcast of Invicta FC 56 is available exclusively to the network’s United States viewers. Canadian viewers can view the show on Fight Network.

All told, tonight’s event features eight MMA bouts. All fighters made weight at the weigh-ins yesterday.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, a strawweight tussle takes place when former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion Valesca Machado (13-4 MMA, 3-1 Invicta FC) battles onetime Open Fighting Championship Strawweight Champion Yulia Ostroverkhova (9-2-1 MMA, Invicta promotional debut.) This, too, is a three-round contest at five minutes per round.

Also on tonight’s card, you’ll see a featherweight contest pitting Kelly Ottoni (5-0 MMA, Invicta promotional debut) and Bellator alumnae Jackie Cataline (4-3 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), a bantamweight fight matching Kate Bacik (4-1 MMA, Invicta promotional debut) against Paula Bittencourt (6-2 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), an atomweight match between Flor Hernandez (4-1 MMA, 0-1 Invicta) and Ana Palacios (8-3-1 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), an atomweight affair pairing Alied Zubieta (3-2 MMA, Invicta promotional debut) against Giullany Perea (1-0 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), a featherweight bout matching Ali Pellegrini (professional and Invicta debut) with Marissa Ellis (1-1 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), and a flyweight bout between Ashley Barrett (professional and Invicta debut) and Tatiana Salazar (professional and Invicta debut.)
