BFL 81 Results

Battlefield Fight League will make their return to the Vancouver Convention Centre on Friday, September 6 and we will have full BFL 81 results for you all night long.

The event was expected to be headlined by a lightweight title fight. However, Rodrigo Sezinando had a rough weight cut and didn’t make it to the official weigh-ins. His bout with Navid Zanganeh was cancelled. Another bout, a catchweight fight between Scottie Stockman and Dario Sinagoga, was also cancelled due to Sinagoga weighing in at 170.8 lbs.

Main Event

The new main event on Friday evening at the beautiful waterfront location will be for the featherweight championship, as Radley Da Silva takes on Drake Randall. Da Silva (5-1) won the featherweight title after a decisive victory against Maxime Soucy at BFL 79. He followed that up with a submission victory against Caleb Moctezuma at BFL 80 in May. Randall (6-0) has finished all of his fights in the first round and all in spectacular fashion. He most recently defeated Mike Keuhne with punches at Conquest of the Cage in July.

The welterweight championship is up for grabs in the evening’s co-main event, as champ Mac Laursen squares off against the RMF champion Ashton Charlton.
