UFC 232 Official Weigh-In Results

The mess that is UFC 232 takes place in 24 hours time. A ruckus week which saw the UFC pick up and move from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada to The Forum in Inglewood, California. All this due to another truly perplexing situation surrounding Jon Jones. Weigh-ins for the event are altered due to the odd circumstances surrounding the event. Fighters received additional time Friday to make weight due to the late notice change in venues.

Odd Circumstances

This runaround to save the main event of UFC 232 allowed the card to stay intact. Although this situation caused a massive amount of anguish for many involved, it did allow for an incredibly stacked card, top to bottom.

Featured Prelims

On the Fight Pass Preliminary portion, four exciting fights take place. Promotional newcomers, Nathaniel Wood, and Andre Ewell meet in a clash of highly touted bantamweights. Wood and Ewell both come into the matchup riding impressive showings in their UFC debuts. Also competing on the early prelims, Uriah Hall, Bevon Lewis, Curtis Millender, Brian Kelleher, and Montel Jackson.

Interesting matchups on FOX Sports Prelims include a few veterans returning to the cage. BJ Penn makes his anticipated return when he takes on fellow grappler, Ryan Hall. Andrei Arlovski looks to bounce back after consecutive loses when he takes on Walt Harris in the featured FS1 prelim. Harris is riding high following a TKO victory over Daniel Spitz at UFC Fight Night 131. Also set to throw down on FOX Sports 1, Petr Yan and Douglas de Andrade. Yan is a red-hot prospect coming to collect his third UFC win. The former ACA (Formerly ACB) bantamweight champion is highly regarded for good reason having victories over Ed Arthur, Magomed Magomedov, and Matheus Mattos. All before joining the UFC.
