As we shared with you yesterday, Jon Jones was yet again arrested. The UFC light heavyweight champion is never far from controversy and it’s such a shame to see. Arguably one of the most talented mixed martial artists to ever live, he became the youngest ever UFC champion a little over nine years ago. Say what you will about Jones but the guy cannot stay out of trouble with the law. We give you some of the pros reactions to the ongoing situation with Jon Jones.
Pros React To Jon Jones’ Arrest
Israel Adesanya
UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya has gone back and forth with Jones in the past few months, teasing a potential fight down the line. The two have taken jabs at each other on social media and this situation was no different. Adesanya took to Instagram to have a pop at ‘Bones’, describing him as ‘stupid’ and using a meme to air his views on Jones.
Diego Sanchez
Former Training partner of Jones and TUF 1 winner, Diego Sanchez also weighed in on the Jon Jones situation. Sanchez has been outspoken since leaving Jacksons in New Mexico. Sanchez described Jones as a ‘bi*ch’ and ‘the fakest f*ck ever’ in an explosive Tweet.
Not even the corona virus can keep, Bill fuckin cosby Jones off of the streets of abq during this global pandemic!! What a bitch! THE FAKEST FUCK EVER!!! Fake ass supporters & followers too ??⚔️ #realburque

Ben Askren
Former UFC, Bellator and ONE Championship competitor Ben Askren also aired his views on the matter. He suggested that Jones just ‘pay (a buddy) $50k a year to be his driver’. This seems like an extremely viable option for Jones going forward.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why he doesn’t hire a buddy and pay him $50k a year to be his driver https://t.co/VcTyztKiVG

Colby Covington
Outspoken former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington was sure to air his opinions on the situation and it was only a matter of time until he did. The former friend of Jones in college, Covington put that the world is still ‘normal’, suggesting that he wasn’t surprised at Jones being arrested again.
See, there’s no need to panic. The world’s still perfectly normal. https://t.co/YuWyN0MukI

Dominick Reyes
Jon Jones’ most recent opponent, Dominick Reyes also took a swipe at the champion. He stated it was ‘same old Jon’ and that the situation is ‘almost laughable’.

Dillon Danis
Bellator fighter and training partner of Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis commented on Jones’ arrest and gave an alternative penalty idea for Jones. Danis has been asking for a fight with Jones and taking jabs at him on social media for months. Unfortunately, these have produced nothing from Jones who seems not to notice Danis.
don’t send him to jail he won’t learn his lesson, lock him in a cage with me instead. https://t.co/W1Gp6PrVR3
