BKFC Announces Three Major Matchups

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships has several big events on the horizon and with big events come big matchups. They have announced their main event for their debut in New York on November 5th and their return to Miami, Florida on November 12th.

BKFC Announces Three Big Matchups

New York

For their debut in New York, BKFC are taking the ‘go big or go home’ approach literally by booking Joey Beltran (5-1-1, 2 KOs) to defend his heavyweight title belt against Arnold Adams (5-1, 1 KO). Both men had previously fought in the inaugural BKFC heavyweight tournament but the fight was controversially stopped by the ringside physician due to a cut over Beltran’s eye. Adams would pick up the win and the title eventually before dropping the title to Chase Sherman.

Both men, Beltran and Adams, have shown they can be top performers at not only the heavyweight division but in BKFC overall. This will be a fun main event to their debut show in New York in a little over three weeks.

Miami

A week after the New York event the promotion returns to Miami, Florida with a great matchup between former UFC and Bellator fighter Hector Lombard (3-0, 2 KOs) defends his cruiserweight title against Lorenzo Hunt (5-1, 5 KOs). When Lombard won the belt against Joe Riggs, it was Hunt who jumped into the ring and a physical altercation ensued.

In the co-main event, Luis Palomino (4-0, 2 KOs) defends his lightweight title against the BKFC bantamweight champion Dat Nguyen (3-0, 1 KO). Palomino won the title by defeating UK bare-knuckle champion Tyler Goodjohn for the belt in a dominant performance. Meanwhile, Nguyen moves up two weight classes, equaling 20 pounds, to combat Palomino. Nguyen is one of the best pound for pound fighters in all of bare knuckle boxing and a win would cement that thought.

Both men in these bouts look to finish the fight every chance they can so just like in New York, Miami fans are in for a show and a fun build-up to the fight on top of it all.
