KSI has announced his next opponent will be Dillon Danis on the Misfits & DAZN “X SERIES 003” broadcast earlier tonight. The fight will take place at the fourth edition of the series on January 14th. The influencer boxing pioneer returned to the ring after a three-year layoff in August where he took on two opponents in a single night.

This will be KSI’s fifth professional boxing match. He is undefeated thus far in the sport, with two amateur fights on top of his 3-0 record in the pro ranks. KSI fought twice already this year, both on the same night. He faced rapper Swarmz in a grudge match, defeating him by knockout. Three hours later, he stopped professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda in the same way. Public reaction to these bouts was mixed: some said it was commendable that he took on the challenge of two fights, while others believed the opposition was not of a high enough standard.

Dillon Danis is most known as a campmate of UFC superstar Conor McGregor, but is also a fighter in his own right. He is currently 2-0 in Bellator MMA with both wins coming by submission, but has not competed since summer of 2019. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the much-acclaimed Marcelo Garcia, and has gone toe-to-toe with the absolute elite of the sport. Danis has become notorious in the influencer boxing scene due to his various past disputes and fights with the likes of Jake Paul and KSI. He was initially rumored to be taking on Logan Paul at “X SERIES 004” in January where he will face KSI.

KSI and Danis had a heated exchange earlier this week at the weigh-ins of “X SERIES 003”. Danis interrupted an interview to throw a cold brew coffee at KSI, but he ran from the building before KSI could get to him in response. He was then almost knocked out by nuisance boxer Anthony Taylor in the parking lot. While Danis is not known for his boxing skills, the trajectory for KSI is similar to his biggest rival Jake Paul—who he hopes to fight at the end of 2023.
