10 Outstanding Paddy Pimblett Quotes and Soundbites

Paddy Pimblett is set to face off in the co-main event of UFC 282 and US sportsbooks have already set the odds on the winner. Fellow lightweight, UFC veteran Jared “Flash” Gordon will be the toughest test to date for the rising lightweight from Liverpool. Before the two square off, we take a look at below some of the most outstanding quotes from “The Baddy” himself.

And with his latest win, his odds are no doubt increasing, for a title shot some time in 2023.  Can he back up his quotes and make a proper run on MMA glory?  The bookies are always a good judge with these matters.

10. “ I’m here to headlock Dana and Hunter and Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard. I’m here to get them all in a headlock later and let them know who the new kid on the block is”.

“The Baddy” announced his presence with the punchline to all of the UFC executives.

  9. “We don’t do ifs, buts or maybes- we do absolutes”

After his UFC debut in which he stopped Luigi Vendramini with strikes at UFC Vegas 36. Pimblett dropped the sound bite on the walk back to the locker room.

When asked about Youtube sensation turned pro boxer Jake Paul, Pimblett gave a simple, but popular response among professional fighters.

  8. “He’s a sausage. I’d fight him tomorrow and I’d beat him up”

7. “He just got a little bit of small man syndrome. Know what I mean? He’s only 5’7” just try to leave the little man to it”.

Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuira have had their fair share of back and forth. This started back before UFC London in July where the two were involved in a physical altercation in the hotel before the event.

Describing his experience at the first ever UFC Fan Expo in London, Pimblett was very displeased with UFC veteran Stephan Bonnar.

  6. “I asked Stephan Bonnar for a picture and he walked away. He said I hadn’t got time and walked away. And I’ve never forgot it. So eat shit Stephan Bonnar. Eat shit lad”.

In a recent episode of Chicken Shop Date, Pimblett dropped an all-timer. When asked if he was scared of Voldemort his reply was glorious.

  5. “I’d head kick Voldemort anywhere. And I’d shove his wand up his arse”

4. “I’d rather be fat and happy”. When asked if he ever missed the six-pack in between fights, Pimblett gave an answer that made everyone listening chuckle. “These people that are ripped all year round aren’t happy, I don’t care what they say”.

This foreshadows the top soundbite from Pimblett but it’s one of the best and it needed to be emphasized. In a backstage interview after his win in July, Pimblett got emotional when discussing his late friend.

3. “Men have got this stigma where if I talk like that I’m a weak man. You’re not weak man. You’re stronger than anyone. You can talk to your mate and say this is affecting me”.

As serious as Pimblett can be, his personality comes out frequently as well.

2.“Hello, love. Me dog’s just had a sloppy shit outside and I was just wondering if you’ve got some water”? The viral video of Pimblett making a homeowner aware of his dog making a mess hit over 6 million views and rightfully so. Imagine coming home to the UFC lightweight and his pup waiting for you at the doorstep.

After submitting Jordan Leavitt via rear-naked-choke back in July at UFC London, Pimblett strayed away from his normal outgoing charismatic self when he chose to take the time to spread a serious message about mental health. “The Baddy” has had his moments on the mic, but none will ever top the message he spread to all men struggling with mental health across the world.

   1. “There’s a stigma in this world that men can’t talk. Listen. If you’re a man and you got weight on your shoulders and you think the only way you can solve it is by killing yourself. Please speak to someone. Speak to anyone. I know I’d rather my mate rather cry on my shoulder than go to his funeral next week. So please. Let’s get rid of this stigma. And men, start talking”.
