Canada’s number one mixed martial arts promotion, Battlefield Fight League has reached a multi-year exclusive agreement with UFC Fight Pass.
The promotion announced the deal on their official Instagram page.

BFL debuted on UFC Fight Pass in 2021 with BFL 66. That event featured eight fantastic fights and had two title fights on the card. In the co-main event, current UFC heavyweight Caio Machado defeated Lee Mein via TKO in the first round. And in the main event, Achilles Estremadura, who fought on Dana White’s Contender Series, knocked out Curtis Demarce just one minute and twenty-seven seconds into the first round.
Since its debut, the promotion has had 13 events featured on UFC Fight Pass and now with the multi-year deal will have many more.
On the Instagram post, BFL backstage interviewer Darcy McBride spoke with several fighters about what it meant to be on the exclusive platform.

“Honestly what Battlefield has done over the years is just nothing short of incredible. I remember fighting when I was 17 years old in a venue that I wasn’t allowed to go out into the stands after, so just to see the way it’s progressed and the amount of people that have gone to the UFC. The Fight Pass deal is huge for us now because it’s always accessible for us to get our footage. For other high-level promoters to be able to see our footage and they get to pick who are the most exciting top dogs. It’s just great.”
Gio Platon
“I think it’s a critical moment for me to be on UFC Fight Pass and to showcase my skill on this big platform. And as you were saying you do graduate from being on these local shows to the international shows and this platform is huge because everybody — coaches, fans from around the world can tune in and watch the fight on BFL. Eventually, all I need is a four or five win streak and a bigger promotion will come calling.”

“It’s super awesome, you’re not having to grind it out and have 15-20 fights to get recognized. You still gotta hustle. You still gotta get in there and fight, but it’s shown globally, so you’re able to pick up fans, which is good for sponsorship traction and social media outlets. Also, you got the big boss, Dana [White] and all those guys watching and they see a spectacular performance, a little more inclined to do some research on you, look in and keep an eye on you. And when that time comes, hopefully, you get the call to the big show.”
