BFL 73 Results

Battlefield Fight League returns to action in downtown Vancouver on Thursday, July 7, 2022, and we will have full BFL 73 results for you all evening long.

BFL 73 Results

In the main event, after having many opponents fall out, wrestling champion Navid Zanganeh will make his long-anticipated MMA debut against a fellow wrestler and striker Austin Batra. Batra had a very successful and notorious amateur career and will look to bounce back after back-to-back losses in his pro career.

Two very talented athletes will face off in the evening’s co-main event as former amateur champions Ali Wasuk takes on Oguzhan Yalcin. In his last fight, Wasuk took on Serhiy Sidey for the bantamweight championship, losing by TKO in the fourth round at BFL 70. This was his first loss since 2019, having gone 4-1 in his last five fights. Yalcin has kicked off his professional career on a two-fight winning streak, winning his first pro fight in dominant fashion by first-round guillotine and most recently, he wrestled his way to a unanimous decision victory at BFL 72.

Fan favorite, Josh Kwiatkowski looks to rebound after a last-second loss at BFL 72, as he faces Quebec’s, Maxime Soucy. ‘The Juggernaut’ was en route to his most dominant decision victory to date in his last outing, however, Ryan Rohovich threw up a last-ditch effort triangle that sealed the deal with just 35-seconds left in the third round. Soucy is 2-1 in his pro career and is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. He made his BFL promotional debut in December 2021, when he earned a unanimous decision victory against Makinde Adeyemi at BFL 70.
