Demetrious Johnson Relishing The Role Of The Underdog Heading Into Saturday’s Title Fight

You look at Dememtrious Johnson and you see a guy who you can't believe is a fighter. At 5ft 3in and maybe weighs in at 140 pounds after he rehydrates his body for his fight, the man people call Mighty Mouse relishes in the role of the underdog. Johnson (9-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) faces Dominick Cruz (18-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) for the UFC Bantamweight title this Saturday night at the UFC Live on Versus 6 card in Washington DC. A lot people were shocked that Johnson got the title opportunity. People thought he even he lost his fight against Miguel Torres at UFC 130 which Johnson won by a close decision. Johnson won the fight and if people want to complain about it that's fine with him.

Brett Rogers Looking For A Start Of New Beginnings

June 30th, 2010 was a day that Brett Rogers would like to forget for the rest of his life. He gets the chance to make the MMA world forget what happened on that day starting tomorrow night. Rogers (11-3 MMA) returns to the cage as he faces former UFC veteran Eddie Sanchez (12-5 MMA) on Friday night for Titan Fighting Championships 20 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KA live on HDNET at 10ET. The last time we saw Rogers in the cage was when he lost to Josh Barnett on June 18th in the first round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix and that is when things got out of control.

Mayhem Miller: I Am The Most Proud Of This Season

When you think of Jason "Mayhem" Miller, a lot of people think of the situation in Nashville in April of 2010. Perception should change this season as Miller along with Michael Bisping are the coaches for Season 14 of the Ultimate Fighter, which starts tonight with a two hour premeire at 9ET/8CT on Spike TV. Miller was supposed to fight Aaron Simpson at UFC 132 in July and then lobbied to coach on the upcoming season as Chael Sonnen was supposed be one of the coaches, but could not get cleared due to suspension.
