Henry Cejudo Wants Jake Paul Next

Staying relevant is something that most retired or inactive fighters try to do. Well, on Sunday, the man known as ‘Triple C’ did just that. Henry Cejudo wants Jake Paul in his next bout.

In the Instagram post, Cejudo made clear that he feels Paul is not up to snuff. “Yo @jakepaul since you really think your a legit fighter by beating up on retired NBA D lister’s who really deserves a academy award for best fall,” Cejudo stated. “How about we fight and if I can’t stop you I’ll give all my money to charity. Will you sign the contract?”

Paul is 2-0 in his professional boxing career. Fighting twice in 2020, Paul earned a TKO victory against AnEsonGib in January and followed that up with a knockout against former NBA player Nate Robinson in the co-main event of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. card.

Cejudo (16-2) was a two-division champion in the UFC prior to retiring at UFC 249. With a vicious TKO against Dominick Cruz, Ceujudo defended the UFC bantamweight championship and then vacated it when he retired from the sport of MMA.

The former Olympian and UFC star is not the first person to call out Jake Paul. In fact, the same night he beat Robinson, NHL player Evander Kane felt the need to target the YouTuber as well.

What do you think? Will Jake Paul take on Henry Cejudo?
