There are a number of fighters that could be mentioned, such as, Chase Hooper, Su Mudaerji, Timur Valiev and Ramazan Emeev, however, they are further along inside the Octagon and more come-up fighters rather than prospects.

10. Lara Procopio
Result: Casey O’Neill def. Lara Procopio via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:54 of Round 3
The Brazilian, Procopio made her Octagon debut in 2019 and came up unsuccessful. Prior to that she was undefeated and has since returned to the cage, picking up a unanimous decision victory over Molly McCann in February. She fights on June 19 to push herself in the right direction of the UFC flyweight rankings.
9. Casey O’Neill
Result: Casey O’Neill def. Lara Procopio via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:54 of Round 3
‘King’ Casey O’Neill could easily be higher on this list, but that tells you something about the upper echelon. The 23-year-old is 6-0 and looked phenomenal in her UFC debut, as she finished Shana Dobson via second-round ground and pound in February. O’Neill will face our number 10 ranked fighter at UFC Vegas 29.
8. Aleksa Camur
Result: Nick Negumereanu def. Aleksa Camur via Split Decision
Camur impressed with a flashy knockout on Dana White’s Contender Series. He followed up with a decision victory in his next outing and lost his most recent fight against William Knight at UFC 253. At UFC Vegas 29, Camur will take on Nick Negumereanu.
7. Jai Herbert
Yes, he may have lost his UFC debut, but it came at the hands of the always dangerous Francisco Trinaldo. Prior to that, the 33-year-old was riding a six-fight winning streak and looks to get back into the win column at UFC Vegas 30 against Renato Moicano.
6. Mason Jones
Result: Alan Patrick vs. Mason Jones Ruled a No Contest (Accidental Eye Poke) at 2:14 of Round Two
The 26-year-old from Wales will look to taste his first Octagon victory at UFC Vegas 28, as he takes on Alan Patrick. ‘The Dragon’ was undefeated upon entering the UFC, but lost a tough decision to Mike Davis in January. With victories coming from all variations, Jones could be a promising prospect in the lightweight division.

5. Kanako Murata
Result: Virna Jandiroba def. Kanako Murata via TKO at 5:00 of Round 2
Murata is the former Invicta FC champion and was successful in her UFC debut, with a decision victory against Randa Markos. She will look to follow that up in a fight against Virna Jandiroba on June 19. The 12-1 prospect not only fought for Invicta, but also under the Rizin FF banner.
4. Sean Woodson
Result: Sean Woodson def. Youssef Zalal via Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)
The man known as ‘The Sniper’ earned his shot in the Octagon with flying knee victory at a Contender Series event. He is now 1-1 under the UFC banner and will take on Youssef Zalal for his first fight of 2021.
3. Jordan Leavitt
Result: Claudio Puelles def. Jordan Leavitt via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Jordan Leavitt is a beast, to say the least. For real, this guy earned his UFC contract with a first-round arm-triangle choke on Contender Series. He followed up in his actual debut with a 22-second slam knockout against Matt Wiman. At UFC Vegas 28, ‘The Monkey’ will take on Claudio Puelles.
2. Tagir Ulanbekov

12-1 does not always add up when looking at a prospect. But this is the UFC prospect watch, not the MMA prospect watch. Ulanbekov has only fought once in the Octagon and he earned himself a decision victory against Bruno Silva. In his sophomore fight, he has a tough test in the always dangerous, heavy-handed Tyson Nam. A win will definitely put his name on the fans’ radar.
1. Shavkat Rakhmonov
Result: Shavkat Rakhmonov def. Michel Prazares via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:10 of Round 2
Much like Ulanbekov, Rakhmonov has 13 fights on his rap sheet, however, he has no losses. The guy fought on the UFC 254 fight card and earned a nasty first-round guillotine choke over Alex Oliveira. Leading up to his Octagon debut, the Kazakhstan native fought mostly under the M-1 banner and some regional promotions. At UFC Vegas 30, he will take on Michel Prazeres.
