A Trio of Bouts Added to KSW 59

The KSW is placing the last bit of its pieces together for the Saturday, March 20, 2021, KSW 59 card. A trio of interesting matchups has recently been added to the card, bringing the total number of bouts now to seven. This likely means he probably has two more bouts about to become official. At the top of the card is a super-heavyweight showdown between World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski, and the debuting Senegal wrestling sensation, Serigne Ousmane Dia. The co-main event features the much smaller bantamweights with Antun Racic defending his title against Sebastian Przybysz. The event can be seen worldwide on the KSW app and KSWtv.

Darko Stosic vs Michal Wlodarek (Heavyweight)

After a stint with the UFC, Darko Stosic (13-4) makes his first appearance after his UFC run. Debuting with KSW at KSW 59, Stosic could quickly climb the charts and find his way in a title match. Eight of his career 13 wins have come by KO/TKO, showing he has a flair for the big ending. One of those knockouts came in his UFC debut when he knocked out Jeremy Kimball at UFC Fight Night 134.

Across the cage from Stosic will be KSW veteran Michal Wlodarek (8-2.) Wlodarek made his KSW debut back at KSW 28, where he a knockout in 27 seconds. After suffering a loss in October 2016 at KSW 36, Wlodarek took a few years off and did not return to the cage until December 2019 at KSW 52. Not showing an ounce of ring-rust, Wlodarek knocked out his opponent in 34 seconds. This fight can absolutely end in a second.

Jason Radcliffe vs Damian Janikowski (Middleweight)

After earning a unanimous decision on his home-turf of England at KSW 50 in September 2019, Jason Radcliffe (16-7) re-enters the KSW cage for another huge test. Radcliffe is on a three-fight winning streak including a winner under the Cage Warriors banner. “The Assassin” is a dangerous finisher, finishing 14 of his career 16 wins. The Phuket Top Team product works quickly too with 11 of those 14 finishes coming in the first round, including a 14-second knockout in Bellator.

A wrestler who fell in love with his heavy hands, Damian Janikowski (5-3) turned his momentum around in his last bout, defeating Andreas Berg Gustafsson at KSW 55 in October 2020 by split decision. Janikowski is a bronze-medal-winning wrestler at the 2012 Olympic games. He fell in love with his striking though, winning the first three bouts of his career by first-round KO/TKO. With the level of competition increasing, Janikowski is learning on the fly how to integrate his game and become a better all-around fighter.

Savo Lazic vs Sebastian Rajewski (lightweight)

Savo Lazic (10-5) may have lost his debut in KSW in April 2019, but he lost to one of the organization’s rising stars in Michal Michalski. Known to wield heavy striking, eight of his 10 wins have come by the finish with four of those by KO/TKO. Across from him at KSW 59 will stand Sebastian Rajewski (9-6) who is coming off of a stunning, quick first-round knockout out KSW 56 in November 2020.

Prior to that in August 2020, Rajewski did win his debut by unanimous decision. Before his last loss, he was also on a five-fight winning streak, the longest of his career, three of those being head kick knockouts. If there is a finish in this matchup, look for it to come from the dangerous striking of Rajewski.
