KSW 62 Results

KSW 62 is set to take place Saturday, July 17, 2021, in an “undisclosed studio” in Warsaw, Poland. KSW has a future heavyweight star on their hands in Olympic gold medalist Szymon Kolecki, who is set to face Akop Szostak in the night’s main event. The night’s official co-main event will be the welterweight rematch between two of the division’s top stars in Andrzej Grzebyk and Marius Zaromskis. Their first matchup ended after a broken leg by Grzebyk. The two heated rivals will look to finish their conflict once and for all. The event can be seen worldwide on KSWtv or on the KSW app.

The 2008 Olympic gold medalist in weightlifting, Szymon Kolecki (9-1) has looked very solid in his three KSW bouts, winning all three and two of those by TKO wins. He has defeated big names all along the way including World’s Strongest Man and veteran Mariusz Pudzianowski and fellow Olympic medalist Damian Janikowski. Poland’s widely known fitness coach Akop Szostak. Szostak is coming into this KSW 62 matchup on the heels of a third-round TKO victory in April 2021.

Former champion Artur Sowinski (21-12) will also step into the KSW cage as he battles the dangerous Polish striker Sebastian Rajewski (10-6). A huge bantamweight showdown is set as SBG Ireland’s Pawel Politylo (6-2) will stand across the KSW cage from Brazil’s own Bruno Santos (9-2).

An interesting fighter to keep your eye on at KSW 62 is the debuting Tomasz Sarara (0-0.) Sarara is a multi-time world champion kickboxer ready to make the transition to mixed martial arts. His opponent on the night will be Filip Bradaric (5-3), who would be considered a veteran against any debuting pro fighter. All five of Bradaric’s victories have come by KO/TKO. If Sarara is able to pull off the victory against such a dangerous opponent, be on the look out for Sarara to make moves quickly up the KSW heavyweight ladder.
