KSW has been putting out one hot card after another. The July card looks to keep it up with KSW 62, set to take place on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The event will still take place in their studio but can be seen worldwide on the KSW app or KSWtv. Olympic gold medalist Szymon Kolecki is set to face former bodybuilder Akop Szostak in the night’s main event. The KSW 62 co-main event will feature a rematch of welterweights when Andrzej Grzebyk battles Marius Zaromskis. Former champion Artur Sowinski is also on the card as he enters the cage with Sebastian Rajewski. Polish kickboxing star Tomasz Sarara will also make his MMA debut as well.

Main Event Showdown

KSW 62 will see Polish Olympic gold medal weightlifter Szymon Kolecki (9-1) will headline his first KSW card since joining the organization back at KSW 47 in March 2019. Since joining the organization, Kolecki has gone 3-0 with two TKO finishes, including a win over veteran Mariusz Pudzianowski. The gold medalist has shown himself to be a dangerous knockout artist with eight of his nine professional wins coming by KO/TKO. Across the cage will stand Polish bodybuilder Akop Szostak (4-3.) The towering force will seek his first win within the organization after coming off of a third-round TKO win at EFM 1 in April 2021.

Keep Your Eye Out For…

The Return of Andrzej Grzebyk

Andrzej Grzebyk (17-4) will look to avenge his most recent defeat as he steps into the cage Saturday. The man across the cage will be the man he suffered the loss to at KSW 56 in November 2020. Unfortunately for Grzebyk, the loss came in the first round with two seconds left due to a broken leg he sustained. He will be out for to hunt Marius Zaromskis as his prey, hoping to put himself on track to earn a title shot in the near future.

Polish Kickboxing Great Makes the Move to MMA

Tomasz Sarara (0-0) will bring his kickboxing accolades to the KSW cage for his professional MMA debut at KSW 62. He earned a professional kickboxing record of 41-7 with 16 of those wins coming by knockout. Just to name a few, Sarara is a former K-1, WKN, and DSF champion in kickboxing.
