Arman Tsarukyan cites the pricelessness of UFC titles in passionate monolog before Mauricio Ruffy fight

Arman Tsarukyan has shed light on the invaluable nature of a UFC title.

The grappling savant's remarks have, incidentally, come at a time when he's on the cusp of a potential title eliminator fight at UFC 331.

On the UFC 331 Countdown episode posted to the UFC's official YouTube channel, Arman Tsarukyan provided fight fans with yet another glimpse of his opulent lifestyle. The son of Armenian businessperson Nairi Tsarukyan, Arman is said to have forged an incredible legacy for himself both as an athlete and entrepreneur -- notably finding success as a social media influencer as well. 

On that note, Tsarukyan suggested that despite being wealthy, he chooses to compete in one of the toughest sports in the world, MMA, and aims to win a championship in the premier MMA organization, the UFC. 

Tsarukyan stated, "When you have a good lifestyle, you want to make more money. 'Cause I'm buying so much sh** -- scarves, watches, houses, traveling. I live one life, so enjoy your life." 

Alluding to the pricelessness of a UFC championship, he said, "But money cannot buy a UFC title. A lot of billionaires in the world, but they don't have a UFC belt. I would trade everything for the UFC title." 

The 29-year-old noted, "I love this sport. I'm doing this not for the money. I'm doing this because I love to do it and because I want to be a UFC champion."

UFC 331 -- Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mauricio Ruffy has significant title implications, with Justin Gaethje's return looming on the horizon

UFC CEO and president Dana White recently indicated that although many view the upcoming fight between Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy as a lightweight title eliminator, nothing is set in stone. Ergo, the belief is that former UFC lightweight champions like Charles Oliveira and Ilia Topuria, as well as contenders like Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett, are also in the title mix. 

Reigning UFC lightweight kingpin Justin Gaethje does, as such, have multiple options for his first title defense. With Gaethje emphasizing that he wouldn't fight this year, many fans and experts have called for top-tier lightweights like Arman Tsarukyan to compete frequently and make their case for a title shot against him. 

Presently, Tsarukyan is booked to take on Brazil's Mauricio Ruffy, a striking extraordinaire and feared knockout artist. Their lightweight MMA showdown will co-headline UFC 331 in Los Angeles on September 19.

Additionally, Tsarukyan is scheduled to compete in yet another freestyle wrestling matchup in the Real American Freestyle (RAF) wrestling organization. The Armenian "Batman" will wrestle against Dillon Danis, with the inaugural RAF middleweight crossover title at stake, headlining RAF 14 in Las Vegas on October 23.
