Cormier sweeps the scorecards en route to Unanimous Decision victory over Nelson

Daniel Cormier has come a long way since his Olympic wrestling career, and has managed to maintain the perfect start to his pro MMA career thus far.

And at UFC 166, along with showcasing his striking credentials, the American showed that he could take a punch as well by eating a couple of shots from Nelson. Cormier delivered multiple kicks throughout the three stanzas as well, once again portraying his athleticism in the combat game.

Nelson tried hard to land his signature overhand right on occasions but Cormier was vary of those shots and did well to stay away from them, while connecting with strikes of his own.

In the end, Daniel Cormeir scored a well deserved Unanimous Decision victory.
