Meanwhile, talking about him, Demetrious Johnson shared his concerns, saying he fears that fans may never see him fight again.

DJ feels Aspinall’s eye could be a big problem whenever he trains or fights. Johnson said he would not take that risk himself. For him, losing his eyesight and not being able to see his kids would be a much bigger worry than fighting again.
“I’m shocked if Tom Aspinall fights again. Every time when it comes to fighting and training that eye will be in compromised. I’m thinking worse key scenario. I wouldn’t risk me losing my vision and not being able to see my kids,” Aspinall stated.
For those who don’t know, Aspinall has been sidelined for almost a year. After getting eye-poked at UFC 321 while defending his title against Ciryl Gane, he has not returned, as he has not yet recovered from the injury. And now, Johnson shared a real concern, and it is easy to understand. No fighter should risk their whole life or their eyesight just to get back in the cage after a serious injury.
