After Dana White’s explanation, fans agreed that Michael Page was kind of a boring fighter.

Following Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s recent win, the 39-year-old expressed his wish to work on his fighting style. Unfortunately, that wish of his never came to fruition as the UFC decided to immediately remove him from their roster. As the news became public, Dana White came up with an explanation to support his decision. UFC fans did seem to agree with it.

One fan commented, “MVP cleaned house! Smart move not to sign.”

Another said, “Because he's an f*cking 🤡! I can't stand the guy. I literally turn off the tv until his fight is over. Good riddance.”

A third fan commented, “That's some top-tier "clarification."”

A fan stated, “Those matchmakers are easily replaceable too.”

An user pointed out, “5-1 with zero finishes and a Paris crowd that started booing in round one. The record was never the part they cared about.”

This fan wrote, “So in short, he was a boring fighter.”

What did Dana White say About Removing Michael Page?

On paper, MVP did have an impressive record in the UFC. With 5 wins and only 1 loss, Page sported an 83% win percentage. He even secured a victory in his final UFC fight against Nursulton Ruziboev. Speaking with the media about the same, White pointed out that he did not have a direct say in the termination of the 39-year-old fighter.

The UFC CEO said, “At the end of the day, the matchmakers make the decision on who stays and who goes, and they didn’t want to re-sign him.”

Currently, fans are waiting to see what lies next for Venom.
