Josh Hokit has once again mocked Alex Pereira after the Brazilian accused the UFC and Daniel Cormier of manipulating the buildup of Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit.

Alex Pereira, who believes the UFC and Daniel Cormier pushed for Gane vs. Hokit, told Laerte Viana:

“At first, the UFC said they did a poll, and that this will be the fight. I said OK. It’s all kind of manipulated. I saw before the announcement that Cormier and other guys saying that it will be a good fight. '‘Hey go ahead, say that this fight is good so that when we drop it, the public will be OK with it and agree with you.’ — I think they did everything there to make people believe that this should be the fight. I if I defeat Ciryl Gane, am I the champion? He said I don’t think so. So the guy has opinions that don’t make sense."

War of Words Between Alex Pereira, Josh Hokit

The ongoing feud between Pereira and Josh began when the American started to taunt 'Poatan.' Hokit has repeatedly targeted Pereira, and even used the phrase "Chama on your mama" to provoke the 39-year-old.

'Poatan' was knocked out by Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 and wanted a rematch. However, the UFC booked Hokit to face heavyweight champion Gane in the main event of UFC 334 instead.

Pereira spoke with Laerte Viana, claiming that Daniel Cormier and the UFC manipulated fans to sell the fight, as posted earlier. Hokit did not like those remarks at all. He has now torched Pereira.

Josh Hokit has uploaded a rhyming post aimed at the former two-division champion.

"Turns out Alex is a dumb son of a bitch. Now runs his mouth, forgot who made him rich. Spoon fed opponents, too stupid to know it. Did you really grape those girls? Hope you didn't blow it. Stupid is as stupid does, mama always says. If stupid is a country, Alex is the Pres."

Why does Josh Hokit deserve a title shot?

Josh Hokit remains undefeated in the UFC and has already secured three victories in 2026. He delivered a potential Fight of the Year contender against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327. After that, he knocked out Derrick Lewis in round two at the White House.

Hokit remains a controversial figure because of his antics and trash talk, and Dana White will have a hard time if the 28-year-old becomes a champion. Hokit knows how to sell fights and has backed up his words with impressive performances inside the Octagon.

Pereira, on the other hand, is a major star. His heavyweight debut ended in a loss, and now he needs to secure a win at UFC 335 before thinking about fighting for the title again.
