Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis get into a huge brawl after their RAF 10 freestyle wrestling match
After an intense buildup to their freestyle wrestling showdown at RAF 10, Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis officially competed against each other and later clashed in a massive brawl.
The wrestling match between Dillon Danis and Khamzat Chimaev headlined RAF 10 a few hours ago.
Russia's Chimaev, who boasts the honor of being a three-time national wrestling champion in Sweden, ended up scoring a spectacular win over America's Danis.
Nevertheless, chaotic scenes unfolded in the immediate aftermath of their wrestling match. Chimaev, Danis, and members of their respective entourages were involved in a brawl that led to several personnel from the RAF intervening to de-escalate the incendiary situation.

Over the past year, the U.S.-based RAF (Real American Freestyle) wrestling organization has gone from strength to strength. It's featured some of the very best wrestlers from different parts of the world, as well as athletes from other sports like MMA.
Speaking of their latest event, MMA superstar Khamzat Chimaev weighed in at 203.4 pounds, whereas BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) savant Dillon Danis hit the scales at 205 pounds for their 205-pound catchweight matchup at the official RAF 10 weigh-ins.
That was preceded by a near-brawl between them and their groups after their arrivals in St. Louis, Missouri, earlier this week.
With both fighters having weighed in within the set 205-pound limit, their contest went ahead as planned. They headlined RAF 10.
The matchup ended quickly, with Chimaev scoring a pinfall victory at the 0:44-minute mark of the very first period. Some fans also questioned whether Danis lost because he locked in a guillotine choke from the bottom position against his Russian opponent.
After the match, things escalated as words were seemingly exchanged between the two fighters. With Danis still on the mat, Chimaev appeared to kick him, and "El Jefe" responded in kind.
A few people from Chimaev's entourage proceeded to attack Danis, while the RAF personnel and others in the vicinity tried their best to keep "Borz" away from his American rival. Security soon intervened to ensure both fighters' groups cease the hostilities. That said, the brawl seems to have overshadowed Chimaev's incredible performance.

RAF representatives address post-match brawl between Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis
During the RAF 10 post-event press conference, the brawl was addressed by RAF CEO Chad Bronstein as well as fellow promotional executive and professional wrestling legend, Eric Bischoff.
Both emphasized that such brawls are against the spirit of the sport and the organization. Bronstein alluded to the infamous brawl between UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas at RAF 06 earlier this year.
On that note, Bronstein indicated that the promotion had managed to prevent such incidents until the brawl between Chimaev and Danis broke out.
In regard to whether Chimaev would face any punitive action and his future matches in the promotion might be affected by this brawl, Bronstein said, "I just have to review the situation."
Khamzat Chimaev, in MMA, is coming off his first career defeat -- having lost via split decision to Sean Strickland and dropped the UFC middleweight title in May. Chimaev has since been calling for an immediate championship rematch against Strickland.
Meanwhile, Dillon Danis last fought in MMA in 2025, having captured the Misfits MMA light heavyweight championship. He hasn't competed in the sport since.
