The middleweight contender reacts to his UFC release after Dana White confirmed he has no path back into the promotion.
Michael 'Venom' Page is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev on September 5, which many consider a lackluster performance.
He walked out of the Accor Arena at UFC Paris on a four-fight win streak, 5-1 in the UFC, expecting a new UFC contract. Unfortunately, he was removed, and Page has reacted to it with just a meme.

Even with a four-fight win streak in the UFC, Page has consistently divided fans and critics, with his recent performances drawing comparisons to his earlier fights in Bellator.
Amid the avalanche of opinions, the British star wrote, "Me trying to handle the internet's opinions," and posted a photo of himself that said everything his words didn't.
Page made his UFC debut in 2024 and suffered only one loss to Ian Garry that same year. Ever since then, he has defeated strong contenders, including Sharapudin Magomedov and former title challenger Jared Cannonier. However, his resume wasn’t good enough to convince the UFC boss.
Dana White’s response on Page
The UFC boss appeared at the Dana White's Contender Series press conference and touched on the British star’s topic.
When asked about his future in the promotion, White said, "I don't think we're signing him. I think it's been pretty clear that he wasn't being re-signed."
With White’s confirmation, Michael ’ Venom ’ Page has now entered free agency at 39 years old and with a 26-3 pro record.
Page had an amazing career at Bellator, finishing most of his fights and tied for the most knockouts in Bellator history. However, he didn’t score any finishes in his six UFC fights.
All of his wins were decisions, none of them particularly spectacular, in a promotion that rewards finishes and star power above everything.
However, his UFC resume is hard to ignore, with wins over elite names. Nonetheless, Page has kept his composure in his response in a situation where most fighters crumble under the weight of being cut.
