The Super Fight League is back for its fortnightly ‘Friday Fight Nights’ initiative with SFL 17. The event goes down tonight 9:00 PM (local time) in Mumbai, India.
Hot off the heels of a spectacular portrayal of fights at SFL 16, fans of the MMA scene can expect more of the same from SFL 17, which will be headlined by a Bantamweight Championship bout between rising stars Tom McKenna (6-3) and Anup Kumar (4-1). The latter, of course, is the promotion’s reigning 135-lbs champion, having garnered the strap against Manoj Chuhan at SFL 13 – Night of Champions.

The co-main event pits heavy-hitter Daniel Amar Singh (1-0) against Mohamed Abdel Karim (1-2). Both fighters have made only a single appearance, each, under the SFL banner thus far, but its Singh who may very well have the upper-hand in this bout, having scored a dominant submission victory in his promotional debut.
