Las Vegas, Nevada – A heated middleweight title fight and a pair of long-awaited rubber matches highlight a loaded UFC® card slated for Saturday, July 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Ultimate Fighting Championship® announced today that tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday for UFC® 148: SILVA vs. SONNEN 2.

The main card features:

  • Middleweight title fight: champion Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen
  • Bantamweight title fight: champion Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber in a battle of current coaches on The Ultimate Fighter® Live on FX
  • Light heavyweight bout: Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin
  • Middleweight bout: Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le
  • Welterweight bout: Demian Maia vs. Dong Hyun Kim

Tickets for UFC® 148: SILVA vs. SONNEN 2, presented by Bud Light®, go on sale Friday, May 4 at 12 p.m. PT. and are priced at $1200, $850, $600, $400, $250 and $125. Tickets are available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). To charge by phone with a major credit card, call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also are available for purchase at www.mgmgrand.com orwww.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are subject to convenience and service fees.

UFC® Fight Club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event Wednesday, May 2 at 10 a.m. PT via the website www.ufcfightclub.com.  A special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Thursday, May 3, starting at 10 a.m. PT.
