UFC Fans Aren't Happy about Alex Pereira Calling Out Ciryl Gane

Alex Pereira dominated two weight classes. He's now dreaming about doing something that hasn’t been done yet in the UFC: Winning a belt at the third weight class.

Unfortunately, his first attempt was thwarted as Pereira lost his bout against Ciryl Gane. Now, as ‘Poatan’ is eyeing a rematch, UFC fans do not look impressed.  One fan said, “How about this time act like its a 205 fight rather then just getting big and slow....”

Another fan said, “The slow kick heavy offense on his heavyweight debut was absolutely retarded. He better not do that sh*t again.” 

A third fan agreed, “Correct. In an immature mindset i think he thought, ill need to be big, when he should have thought, do what got me here.”

A user stated, “He'll get smoked again. He looked poor at Heavyweight. I respect him taking on such a hard challenge but I think he'd have cemented it before by carrying on at LHW beating Ulberg and then maybe Khamzat.”

This fan suggested, “Fight Hokit. Get a win in the division.” 

Another quipped, “Don't be scared kid hasbullah is coming for you at HW.”

What did Alex Pereira tell Ciryl Gane in His Recent Callout? 

Pereira’s outing at UFC Freedom 250 did not go as per the plan. Facing off against Gane, Poatan struggled right from the first round. Ultimately, in round 2, Gane unleashed himself on the two-division champion and secured a knockout victory. With allegations of illegal strikes, Pereira has recently challenged his former foe for a date inside the octagon again. 

Poatan said, “I think the fight that makes sense is Ciryl Gane. That's the fight; I'm gonna work on that. The last fight, there were illegal shots; now, with another opportunity, I can come back and show what I can do.”

Pereira’s callout had the UFC fans talking immediately. However, neither Gane nor the UFC has responded yet.
