OTX 7 Live Results

On the last night of the fifth month of the year, not everybody in America will be watching the night session in day one of the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament from stadiums around the nation. This evening, competitive violence is on the menu in Houston, TX.

Boxing is the focus tonight as OTX holds OTX 7: Rumble at the Rodeo from Red Owl Boxing in the Lone Star State. Live coverage begins at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on DAZN as well as its associated YouTube channel.

All told, the final version of the evening of pugilism will feature six matches inside the ring.

Main Event

At the top of the show tonight is the last quarterfinal fight in the promotion’s super-welterweight tournament. Andreas Katzourakis (12-0, 10 KOs) meets Kudratillo Abdukakhorov (20-2, 12 KOs). This one is an advertised maximum of 10 rounds at three minutes per round to end the night’s activities.

If the fight produces a draw, the main event goes to an 11th round for the purposes of sudden death. All OTX bouts have that provision in case of a stalemate after the contracted number of rounds.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-headliner sees quarterfinal number three in the tournament take place. Robert Terry (11-0-1, 4 KOs) clashes with Estevan Villalobos (16-2-1, 12 KOs). This, too, is a 10-round fight at three minutes per round.

Rest of the Card

Also tonight, you’ll see an eight-round affair at super-lightweight between Giovanni Marquez (9-0, 5 KOs) and Jason Limon (8-1-1, 2 KOs), a six-round women’s super-flyweight contest matching LeAnna Cruz  (8-0, 0 KOs) with Nancy Franco  (19-20, 5 KOs), an eight-round bout at super-featherweight versing Gustavo Rivera Rio (9-0, 7 KOs) and Alexander Espinoza (21-6-2, 8 KOs) and a six-round tilt at super-lightweight pitting Breyon Gorham (16-0, 13 KOs) against Luis Manuel Baltazar (12-1, 5 KOs).
