UFC 322 Betting Tips & Picks
Leon Edwards Outright (+170)
The return of Rocky, Leon Edwards. The Brit is entering UFC 322 up against it for sure. Staring down the barrel of a third straight loss, the former welterweight champion has it all to do in New York.

It won’t be easy as he has fan favourite, Carlos Prates standing across from him, however, there’s one thing that plays in favour of Edwards.
Edwards is a well-rounded mixed martial artist. Although he comes from a kickboxing background and his most famous moment came via a headkick, he’s more than capable of taking the fight to the ground and working his jiu jitsu. He averages 1.18 takedowns per 15 minutes, became the first name to take Kamaru Usman down and is more than willing to wrestle if necessary.
Although he’s 0-2 in his last two fights, he’s been out-grappled and out-wrestled in both. When he was down on the scorecards against Usman in their rematch it was because he was being out-wrestled. Never have we seen Edwards comprehensively beaten on the feet. Prates is all-action, however, he averages just 0.23 takedowns per 15 minutes. With that being said, in his lone UFC loss, he was outwrestled by Ian Garry, being taken down four times.
If Edwards can get this one to the ground and do enough work to stay down there, he could cruise to victory. He’ll need to block out the boos, but he needs to do anything to get back in the win column against a dangerous striker in Prates.
Edwards outright at +170 is our first UFC 322 betting pick.
Michael Morales vs Sean Brady – Under 2.5 rounds (+120)
One of the best fights on the card is certainly going under the radar. With a combined record of 36-1, Michael Morales vs Sean Brady is a huge fight for the welterweight division. Sitting at #2, Brady has a huge opportunity to stop the train that is Morales and demand the next shot at the belt. For Morales, he has the chance to upset the odds and snatch Brady’s ranking from him.

Brady impressed last time out, dominating former champion, Leon Edwards, and finishing him in round four of their main event, extending his undefeated streak to three straight. We know what he wants to do. Close the distance, work his wrestling and drown his opponents. Likewise, we know what Morales wants to do. Keep things on the feet and knock his opponents out.
It’s an interesting clash of styles as both men know what’s on the line in New York.
With a combined 23 finishes and a statement to be made, don’t expect this one to go the distance. This is the last one of our UFC 322 betting tips for the main card.
Erin Blanchfield vs Tracy Cortez – Fight to go the Distance -475
On one of the more interesting fights on the prelims, #4 Erin Blanchfield returns to action for the first time this year to clash with #8 Tracy Cortez. This fight is a rematch of a 2019 bout, which was fought in Invicta FC, where Cortez walked away with a narrow victory.
The improvements that Blanchfield has made, however, put her on top in this one. She’s faced far better opposition, including Jessica Andrade, Talia Santos and Rose Namajunas. Cortez, on the other hand, has wins over Jasmine Jasudavicius and Viviane Araujo.

Both women prefer to wrestle and we can assume that they will cancel each other out. Blanchfield is crisper on the feet and if the fight is going to make it to the ground, it’ll be Cold Blooded who gets it down there.
Neither woman is particularly adept at finishing fights; they have only recorded a combined six wins across 25 fights, so expect this one to go the distance.
Honourable Mentions
Fatima Kline (-430) – There isn’t much money to be made on the biggest favourite on the card, but there is a reason why she’s boasting such big odds.
Bo Nickal at -225 is in the same boat as Kline. It’ll be interesting to see how Nickal approaches this fight as it’s the first time he’s coming off a loss, as well as taking on a dangerous submission artist.
