UFC 4 Reveals the Fighters Ranked 40-31

EA Sports UFC 4, the latest entry in the video game series produced by EA, has just had some of the fighters with the most impressive stats revealed. Instead of the four percentage scores common in the series before, the game now presents stats in the form of three five star ratings, one each for striking, grappling, and health. The game also presents a single overall rating for each fighter, again out of five stars.

The fighters revealed so far are those ranked #40-31 in terms of overall ability out of the entire roster. For the previous fighters, ranked #50-41, please click this link.

UFC 4 #40-35 rankings

The 40th-ranked fighter is Colby Covington. The American welterweight is coming off a brutal hard fought TKO loss against current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 246. Covington is believed to be in the process of agreeing a fight with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

Coming in at number 39 is Holly Holm. The former UFC bantamweight champion is most famous for ending Ronda Rousey‘s undefeated streak. She comes off a decision win against Raquel Pennington at UFC 246.

Ronaldo Souza dos Santos, better known as Jacare, is number 38 in the game. The Brazilian middleweight is a former Strikeforce champion. He comes off a split decision loss to light-heavyweight contender Jan Błachowicz at UFC Fight Night 164.

The 37th-ranked fighter is Joseph Benavidez. The American flyweight is a four-time UFC title challenger. He comes off back to back finish losses to Deiveson Figueiredo, one at UFC Fight Night 169 and one at UFC Fight Night 172.

The number 36 fighter on the list is Cain Velasquez. The American is a former two-time UFC heavyweight champion. Velasquez retired from MMA last year.

The 35th-ranked fighter is Alistair Overeem. The Dutchman is a former Strikeforce and Dream heavyweight champion and a K-1 Grand Prix winner in kickboxing. Overeem comes off of a TKO stoppage over Walt Harris at UFC on ESPN 8.

UFC 4 #34-31 Rankings

Kicking off the second half of this section of rankings is Curtis Blaydes at 34. The American is a UFC heavyweight, currently ranked #3 at heavyweight in official rankings.  Blaydes comes off of a decision win over Alexander Volkov at UFC on ESPN 11.

The 33rd-ranked fighter is Aljamain Sterling. The American is a UFC bantamweight, widely considered to be the most likely next title challenger for current champion Petr Yan. Sterling comes off of a first-round submission victory over Cory Sandhagen at UFC .

Number 32 is Jessica Andrade. The Brazilian is a former UFC Women’s Strawweight champion. Andrade comes off of a decision loss to fellow former strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas, at UFC 251.

The 31st-ranked fighter is Yoel Romero. The Cuban is a three-time title challenger for the UFC middleweight belt and an Olympic Silver medalist in freestyle wrestling. Romero comes off of an unsuccessful title challenge against current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, where he lost by unanimous decision at UFC 248.
