XMMA 6: Bash at the Beach Results

XMMA is back for the first time this year to deliver XMMA 6: Bash at the Beach at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The young promotion has already showcased some impressive fights in the last two years and is ready to do the same tonight with 10 fights between some familiar faces.

MMA Sucka will have live coverage for XMMA 6: Bash at the Beach. The full card will be available on the promotion’s YouTube Page starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

Main Event — Rivera vs. Bandejas

XMMA scooped up two of the most exciting bantamweights on the regional scene for this main event when they matched up Francisco Rivera Jr. (15-10) and Ricky Bandejas (15-7). Rivera has had quite the MMA journey against some of the toughest bantamweights in the history of the sport. The former WEC and UFC fighter has secured 10 finishes all by knockout thanks to his aggressive forward pressure and punch combinations.

Now 41, Rivera is ready to put a bow on such a memorable career.

Bandejas is currently on a different arc of his MMA journey looking to get back to fighting in the leagues after a back and forth career. The American Top Team fighter has fought some of the toughest bantamweights in his Bellator run such as Sergio Pettis, Patchy Mix and Juan Archuleta.

Standing at 5 feet 10 inches, Bandejas has a very long frame for the weight class and has shown the ability to consistently mix things up and go for takedowns and submissions. Expect fireworks when these fighters meet in the cage for the final bout of the evening.

Rest of the Card

There are plenty of other fighters to keep fight fans entertained through the evening. Bantamweights Saidyokub Kakhramonov (10-3) and Vince Morales (11-7) are ready to remind everyone who they are in their respective post-UFC debuts. Kakhramonov looked like one of the top prospects in the bantamweight division with his wins over Ronnie Lawrence and Trevin Jones. After hitting a snag in his initial UFC run against Said Nurmagomedov, he finds himself fighting in the co-main slot of tonight’s event.

Morales was another prospect who look promising but had some unfortunate set backs against currently ranked UFC fighters such as Song Yadong and Jonathan Martinez. Morales is here to prove he’s still one of the best bantamweights in the world and has a proper opponent to do so in former UFC fighter in Teruto Ishihara (13-10-3).

Karate black belt Justin Scoggins (13-6) returns to MMA after a quick fight in bare knuckle boxing earlier this year. The former UFC flyweight is looking to extend his MMA winning streak against Josh Smith (10-8) who returns to XMMA for the first time since the promotion’s third card in 2021.

Welterweight prospect Mitch Ramirez (6-0) is ready to take advantage of all the attention the vets are getting in his debut for XMMA. Mandel Nallo (9-3) will also make his first appearance since his exciting run with Bellator. The Tristar fighter has never went the full distance in his entire pro career thus far and will probably keep that impressive streak going in the main card opener tonight.
