On August 24, at the Hongkou Indoor Stadium that’s situated in Shanghai, China, the Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation (RUFF, for short) will be showcasing its 10th event. This is, of course, considered a milestone for the China-based promotion, having come a long way since its inception in 2011.

And to commemorate this special occasion, officials have placed a star-studded fight card which may please both local and fans abroad. The main event is set to be a rematch, this time with the Featherweight championship hanging in the balance, between reigning title-holder Wang Guan (11-0-1) and Sandro Da Silva (3-2).

As for the co-main event, veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Rodrigo Caporal (9-4) returns to action as he looks to continue his remarkable winning streak by seeking a victory over promotional newcomer, Rasul Khairulaev (1-0).

Following a very successful RUFF 9 at the MGM Grand in Sanya, China, RUFF will be moving forward to its 10th fight, which is quite the landmark. The Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation will be returning to it’s home in Shanghai, China for RUFF 10. Ruff 10 will be headlined by the much anticipated rematch between 2013 Featherweight Super Fight Champion Wang Guan and the tenacious Sandro Da Silva. Two other Super Fight champions will be returning to fight in Ruff 10’s co-main events: Flyweight Champ Zhang Meixuan will be facing off against RUFF newcomer and rising Chinese MMA star Ya Fei, and Lightweight champ Rodrigo Caporal will be squaring off against Russian wrestler Rasul Khairulaev.

Also being shown on the main card will be former challenger for the belt and long time Chinese MMA veteran Wu Hoatian, who will be going head to head with well-rounded Mongolian fighter Amartuvshin Khuukhenkhuu in the lightweight division. Finally, the main card will feature a Bantamweight fight between two former teammates, young Lu Zhenhong and heavy-handed Hanjie.

The undercard will showcase several RUFF veterans who are continually seeking to work up the ranks and earn a shot in the Super fight, as well as some newcomers that want to build a name for themselves. Top Team’s Amu, who is coming off a submission victory over top contender Shang Zhifa, will be going head to head with Liu Xiaoyang, a young knockout artist from Xian Sports University. Zhou Yafei will return to the RUFF cage to take on Ning Guangyou, who achieved a dominant victory over his opponent at RUFF 9. Jiang Zhouwen will also be returning after his loss to Ning Guangyou to face off against RUFF newcomer Gao Yuan.

Light Heavy Weight Li Jixiang will once again fight for RUFF after suffering a loss at the super fight, getting in the cage with Mongolian newcomer Ganbayar Tumurkhuyag.

The undercard will also feature Xian Sports University wrestler Wulakibieke Baheibieke, fighting against young prospect Song Yadong in a Bantamweight collision. Lastly, Ruff 10 will include an exciting fight between two young MMA fighters looking to make future for themselves in RUFF: Baoyinna and Yang Jianbing.
