UFC officials confirmed the UFC 167 match-up with the lasvegassun.com.

Cerrone (20-6 1NC) is coming off a loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night 27 in August and is 1-2 in his last three fights. “Cowboy” picked up a victory over K.J. Noons at UFC 160, but was stopped by a vicious kick to the body by UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis at UFC on FOX 6.

Dunham (14-3) is also coming off a loss to dos Anjos at UFC on FX 8 in May. Both men are very similar in terms of records at the moment, as Dunham is also 1-2 in his last three. He won at UFC 156 against Gleisson Tibeau and lost to current number one contender T.J. Grant.

The two lightweights have been on the verge of title contention, but never ended up quite there. A win for either will put them back on the right track.

UFC 167 will be the 20th anniversary of the organization and will go down on November 16 from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main event will be for the welterweight championship, as divisional kingpin Georges St-Pierre puts his belt on the line against Johny Hendricks. Also announced for the card is Chael Sonnen vs. Rashad EvansRory MacDonald vs. Robbie Lawler and Josh Koscheck vs. Tyron Woodley.
