The UFC has added a pair of new faces to their flyweight division, and have quickly gone about setting debutants Joshua Sampo and Ryan Benoit against each other. The new signees will make their debuts at the Ultimate Fighter 18 finale on November 28th.

UFC signs Ryan Benoit and Josh Sampo, faces them off at The Ultimate Fighter 18 finale
Ryan “Baby Face” Benoit (7-2) is coming to the UFC fresh off a win over Cody Fuller at Legacy Fights 24 last month. The young Janjira Muay Thai product is, as you may have guessed, quite proficient with his striking and has earned 6 of his 7 finish victories by stoppage due to strikes. Will he be able to out-strike fellow debutant Sampo?
Joshua “The Gremlin” Sampo (10-2) is also coming to the UFC off a recent victory, having defeated Sam Thao by decision for the CFA Flyweight Title last month. The grappling specialist, who trains out of St. Charles MMA, has 5 finishes in his 10 wins, all by submission. Will he be able to drag Benoit to the ground and make a successful UFC debut?
The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale goes down on November 30th from the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas, NV, and will air live on both Fox Sports 1 and Sportsnet360. The main event is currently set to be a trilogy bout at lightweight, pitting Ultimate Fighter Season 5 alumni Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz against each other in rubber match over 3 years in the making.
