The match-ups continue to roll in for UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockholm. The latest addition is a welterweight bout between Cathal Pendred and Gasan Umalatov.

UFC officials announced the bout on Friday.

Cathal Pendred and Gasan Umalatov added to UFC Fight Night 53 fight card

Pendred (14-2) is riding an eight-fight winning streak, with his last loss coming nearly four years ago. Most recently the Irish native defeated Mike King at UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin last month.

Umalatov (15-3-1) is 1-1 inside the UFC — he lost debut against Neil Magny at UFC 169 in February, but followed up with a decision win against Paulo Thiago at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale in May.

No word as to where the Pendred vs. Umalatov bout will take place on the fight card. UFC Fight Night 53 will air exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Fight Night 53 goes down on October 4 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. The main event is a welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.
