“No Love” Cody Garbrandt stepped into the cage for a catchweight bout against short notice replacement Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA as part of UFC Fight Night 83. While Mendes’ striking was better than expected, it was no match for Garbrandt’s polished punches and kicks. “No Love” showed no mercy on the feet, catching “Tanquinho” in an exchange and pausing only briefly when he thought referee Mario Yamasaki was stepping in before resuming the punishment until the actual stoppage.
