Brett Shoenfelt vs. Dustin Parrish at Steeltown Throwdown
Brett “Showtime” Shoenfelt
Brett Shoenfelt is making his return to fighting after a retirement that lasted almost three years. ‘Showtime’ stepped away from the sport after a loss in Strike Off Fighting Championships in June, 2016. Shoenfelt holds a professional record of 9-7, with one no contest. He has a professional career that dates back to 2011. He fought all over the country, including Arizona, Virginia, and various cities in Pennsylvania. A majority of his fights, though, took place in Pennsylvania. Shoenfelt will be looking to put on a show for the Pittsburgh crowd once again at Steeltown Throwdown.
Dustin Parrish
Dustin Parrish is one of the top ranked welterweight fighters in the state of Indiana. Steeltown Throwdown is his first time fighting in front of a Pittsburgh crowd. Following a successful amateur career, Parrish turned pro in April of 2014. Since then, he has accumulated a record of 6-3-1, fighting in various promotions in the midwest. Parrish is looking to snap a two fight skid, both of which came in Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting, the top promotion in Michigan. In the process, he is also looking to spoil the return of a fan favorite.
