Bare Knuckle FC 5: Lobov vs. Knight – Results

Bare Knuckle FC 5 – Results

BKFC returns to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi with a stacked Bare Knuckle FC 5 card.

An event riddled with combat sports veterans, the main event features Conor McGregor training partner Artem Lobov as he takes on fellow UFC veteran Jason Knight. With a win, Lobov will face new BKFC signing and former boxing world champion; Paulie Malignaggi.

Lobov, though often joked about, is an undeniably talented stand-up fighter when it comes to mixed martial arts. Competitive contests with the likes of Cub Swanson, Michael Johnson prove this.

Knight is incredible at nothing, but good at almost everything in MMA. He can go toe-to-toe thanks to his signature Mississippi toughness’, and is an interesting addition to bareknuckle boxing.

In the co-main event, former UFC fan-favourite Chris Leben returns to bareknuckle boxing after a WBKFF knockout win over Phil Baroni. He faces fellow MMA veteran Justin Baesman.

Leben is known as “The Crippler,” and it’s a disturbingly fitting monicker for him. He possesses power that very few do, but it’s his chin that makes him special and must-watch TV. He has multiple wins on his resume that have seen him get tagged with bombs, damn near put out on his feet, only to score a knockout of his own seconds later despite the spaghetti legs.

Baesman is a journeyman of sorts in the combat sports world, and is also known to take big shots whilst being able to throw power punches of his own. It is worth noting that he has lost a staggering 12-straight in MMA.

The card will also feature a pair of lightweight tournament semi-final bouts, a women’s featherweight title bout, and a handful of other combat sports vets from the UFC, Bellator, RIZIN, and more.

Check out the full card below, updated with live results all night. Be sure to watch live on FITE TV, and check out the results of BKFC 4 while you’re at it!
