ONE: Inside The Matrix III Recap
#1-ranked contender and former divisional king Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon battled #5-ranked John “Hands Of Stone” Lineker.
The contest was extremely competitive in the opening five minutes, with both men having success on the feet. While Lineker’s power advantage was evident, Belingon showed no fear in standing in the pocket and exchanging with the Brazilian.
As the second frame got underway, Lineker looked determined to keep the pressure on and cut off the angles to keep the Filipino in front of him.
With meticulous bodywork, Lineker began doing damage. Finally, an uppercut forced Belingon to the mat where quick ground and pound forced the referee to step in and halt the contest.

In the co-main event, former ONE Strawweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio defeated Song Min Jong to inch himself closer to contendership.
Welterweights Murad Ramazanov and Hiroyuki Tetsuka went all 15 minutes in their meeting, but it was the Russian’s grappling that won the day. Ramazanov looked strong and dominated the bout with repeated takedowns and strong pressure from the top.

Brazilian submission ace Yuri Simoes made his long-awaited debut, but Fan Rong gave him a rude welcome and edged the contest on the judge’s scorecards.
In the event’s opening contest, Hiroba Minowa made a big statement in his ONE debut with a decision victory over the fast-rising Lito Adiwang. Minowa overcame a deep Kimura in the first round to rebound and use his grappling to grab two of the three judge’s scorecards.
