The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has announced its fifteenth event to be held on December 11, 2020. BKFC 15 features a main event heavyweight clash between BKFC favorite, Sam Shewmaker, and Mark Godbeer.

BKFC 15 Early Preview

BKFC 15: The British Are Coming will cap off the bare-knuckle boxing promotion’s busy 2020. Its sixth show of the year will take place in Biloxi, Missouri, and will air live on the BKTV app. Despite any Covid-19 regulations, the event will feature a live audience.

Sam Shewmaker will make his sixth bare-knuckle appearance in the main event. “The Mountain Man” is perhaps best known for his stunning knockout of Eric Prindle at BKFC 1. Since then, the Missouri native has accumulated a 4-2-1 professional combat sports record.

His opponent, Mark “The Hand Of” Godbeer, will make his BKFC debut in the main event. Godbeer, a former UFC, and Bellator heavyweight lost his last MMA bout to Sergey Bilostenniy in April 2019. As a bare-knuckle boxer, Godbeer is undefeated (3-0, 2 KOs), winning his last fight by TKO at VKB-Valor Bare Knuckle 1.

This main event promises fireworks as both heavyweights have a combined 12 knockouts to their names.

The only other fight to be announced thus far is a lightweight clash between Tyler Goodjohn and Charles Bennett.

“Felony” Charles Bennett lost his last bare-knuckle outing to Johnny Bedford. The Florida native may not always get his hand raised, but when puts on the gloves, he’s going to put on a show. The always ready Bennett has competed in more than 70 pro combat sports fights and looks to make a huge statement with a win over his opponent.

“Tornado” Tyler Goodjohn is no stranger to bare-knuckle boxing. The 29-year old fighter has competed in 18 pro boxing fights and even won the BBBofC English Super Light Title in 2014 after defeating Ricky Boylan. Fighting out of Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, Goodjohn earned his last victory in 2017 against Adam Barker.

More to come.

With just two fights announced so far, BKFC 15 promises more fight announcements very soon.
