“The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” has announced its premiere date and all of its 16 candidates competing on the reality television series’s debut season.

In Asia, the program will begin airing on March 18, while the global launch will take place later in June.

The candidates will compete for a US$250,000 job offer to work under ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong as his protege for one year.

The cast features a global group of candidates coming from 11 countries around the world. Representing the United States will be Eugene Chung, Monica Millington, Nazee Sajedi, and Roman Wilson.

The American candidates come from varied backgrounds and bring unique strengths to the competition television series.

Chung, based in New York City, will be the youngest candidate on the show. Millington founded Tropick, a men’s active leisurewear brand. Sajedi has been an advisor to NASA and works in the aviation field. Wilson is a former All-Ivy League Princeton Tiger wide receiver who is now an independent advisor in Singapore.

Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America are all represented by aspiring candidates. The global cast will make this a truly international competition as it tests their mental acuity and physical abilities.

As previously announced, a bevy of mixed martial arts World Champions will make appearances on the program. Georges St-Pierre, Ben Askren, Angela Lee, Demetrious Johnson, Xiong Jing Nan, and more will bring their presence to the show and assist with physical challenges.

The show was filmed in Singapore, the home base of ONE, adhering to the health and safety protocols set forth by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) during 2020.

In Asia, “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” will premiere Thursday, March 18, on AXN. The broadcast will reach various Asian markets, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Additional media partners for the launch in Asia will include MediaCorp (Singapore), Abema (Japan), KompasTV (Indonesia), Amarin TV (Thailand), LINE TV (Thailand), TV5 Network (Philippines), and HTV (Vietnam).

ByteDance, in China, will stream “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” on their Douyin, Xigua, and Toutiao platforms on Saturday, March 20.
