ONE Championship’s summer will begin to heat up with ONE: Full Blast II on Friday, June 11.

3 Things to Keep an Eye on at ONE: Full Blast II

The previously recorded event will feature four bouts to get your morning started on the right foot. Featured on the bill will be two ONE Super Series matchups and two mixed martial arts contests.

And each match should make for an exciting way to get the weekend started.

Here are three things to keep an eye on when the bell sounds at ONE: Full Blast II.

#1 Mongkolpetch vs. Mahmoudi

In the main event, it will be a showdown of elite ONE Super Series athletes in a catchweight contest.

Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy and #4-ranked flyweight contender Elias “The Sniper” Mahmoudi will put on a show when the bell rings.

Mahmoudi is ranked in the official ONE athlete rankings, but Mongkolpetch is undefeated in ONE competition. It is a true meeting of upper-echelon talent who can make a play for title contention with a victory.

Everyone loves a good striking battle, and with four-ounce gloves, a staple of ONE’s Muay Thai rule set, anything can happen. So fans should expect a banger between two exceptional striking warriors.

#2 Ben Wilhelm’s ONE Debut

A new American will arrive on the scene at ONE: Full Blast II. Ben Wilhelm will meet Mongolia’s Amarsanaa “Spear” Tsogookhuu in a lightweight tilt.

The Hawaiian is a rising star with a perfect 5-0 professional record. His five submission performances have showcased his abilities on the ground and make him a constant threat in the grappling department.

But he will not get an easy start to his ONE tenure against the Mongal. “Spear” has competed against the best the division has to offer and has shown the power in his hands as well. It will be a good measuring stick to see where Wilhelm fits within the division right away and what other tools he has been working on during camp.

While the lightweight division is jam-packed with talent, it is also begging for fresh faces to rise to the top. Wilhelm will get a chance to make his case and put himself on the radar of a global audience.

#3 Featherweight Fireworks

Two exciting featherweights will help get the mixed martial arts action started at ONE: Full Blast II. “Cannon” Ma Jia Wen and Yoon “The Big Heart” Chang Min will collide in a three-round battle to see who can get back in the win column in a stacked divisional race.

China’s Ma has spent his entire professional career inside the Circle and is recently coming off a four-bout win streak that saw him finish three of those opponents. The 24-year-old’s maturation as a complete martial arts is sending him on a trajectory toward the top of the division.

However, “The Big Heart” posts a perfect 100% finishing rate in his victories. The South Korean is one of the most exciting athletes in the division and is always searching for the finishing blow.

This is an underrated matchup of stars who have a long future ahead of them, and it could steal the show.

ONE: Full Blast II will air on B/R Live on Friday, June 11, at 8:30 a.m. EST/5:30 a.m. PST.
